fashion brands quarter 2020

Today, Lyst released their fashion report for Q1 of 2020 and Off-White consecutively has been named fashion’s hottest brand for three quarters in a row. Balenciaga becomes the second and then followed by Nike, Gucci and Prada.

As we are all living through coronovirus pandemic, our way of life has changed and as a matter of course the way we shop has changed and still going through some changes. According to The Lyst Index, the demand for fashion masks has seen a 496 percent burst in searches in last quarter.

The Covid-19 crisis is accelerating shifts that were already happening in our industry, and catalysing further changes. In this unprecedented moment, digital is more important than ever to fashion brands. Information and communication are key for our community. Those who adapt quickly to the changing landscape, using data-backed decisions while drawing on their core strengths, will be best placed to thrive.” – Chris Morton, Co-Founder and CEO, Lyst

Other highlights reveal that Nike web site got 733 percent more page views for Nike Kobe Bryant sneakers after the athete’s unexpected passing away in February.

Prada experienced 911 percent spike in social mentions the day Raf Simons announced for creative director.

Off-White’s arrow face mask has become the hottest men’s product in the World. The $95 mask sold out across all retailers.
